Centennial Park Nashville Children Photography | Noah

Noah and I had lots of fun playing around at Nashville’s Centennial Park around sunset. We explored the beautiful gardens, some rocks, and the lake. Centennial Park is great for any photo shoot because of its versatility. You can do formal, casual, fun, serious, romantic, silly- anything there in any season! I could shoot there for months before running out of ideas! Our photo shoot was laid back, fun, and silly- everything that fit Noah’s personality. My favorite part of the day was Noah making a grass mustache. Mustaches are very IN right now, you know. On a side note, I must admit that all the posing was done by Noah. I do not really believe in posing people for photo shoots; I believe in guiding people from their original pose, however. One of the best ways to get a natural photo is to act perfectly natural and feel perfectly natural while doing “poses.” Here are a few of my favorite pictures from Noah’s Nashville Children Photography sunset photo shoot!

Now that Christmas is over, I am happy to share the Mitchells’ fall photo shoot! The sweet Mitchell family contacted me to get some updated photos of their family to give to their family for Christmas presents. This lovely Nashville, TN Pet and Couple photo shoot took place at Belle Meade Plantation. We experienced a beautiful fall evening and had lots of fun exploring the very large, historic plantation. Gus, the boxer, had such a fun and energetic personality, and the Mitchells were one of the sweetest couples I have ever worked with. They were all so very natural in their posing – which is just how I like to shoot. I find that giving minimal guidance and making small adjustments looks so much more natural than telling someone exactly how to pose, and it leaves time for more creativity on the client and photographer sides. I hope you enjoy the photos, and if you get a chance, take a trip to Belle Meade Plantation- it’s gorgeous.

This beautiful and cute Nashville dog photography took place at Deerwood Arboretum & Nature Center. We were lucky enough to enjoy the fall leaves and good weather for our photo shoot! Kona is the adult Golden Retriever and Owen is the Golden Retriever puppy! Their owners, Lauren and Albert, are going to be newlyweds soon! They have such a fun family!
